Launch Configuration Required Before Publication

This is an internal implementation document and is not intended to be published as a public-facing page. It provides the minimum operational, technical, and administrative requirements that should be completed before the Online Safty website is officially launched.

Required Email Addresses

Before publication, create the following dedicated email addresses (or aliases) and ensure they are routed to actively monitored inboxes. While multiple aliases may point to the same secure mailbox, every address must be capable of receiving, processing, and responding to legitimate enquiries within a reasonable timeframe.

Inbox monitoring procedures should be documented internally to ensure that editorial requests, legal notices, security reports, privacy enquiries, accessibility feedback, and public communications are handled by the appropriate personnel.

Security Configuration

The security@onlinesafty.org address should be published in a valid /.well-known/security.txt file to enable responsible vulnerability disclosure by security researchers and members of the public.

Security reports should be acknowledged promptly, reviewed by qualified personnel, and resolved according to the organization’s internal security response procedures.

Cookie Consent Requirements

The published Cookie Policy assumes that the website’s technical implementation matches the commitments made to users. In particular:

  • Non-essential cookies remain blocked until valid user consent has been provided.
  • “Accept All” and “Reject Non-Essential” options are presented with equal prominence.
  • Visitors can reopen and modify Cookie Settings at any time after making their initial choice.
  • Consent records are retained where required by applicable law.

These commitments should not be published until the website’s consent management platform has been fully configured and tested.

Publisher Information

The Publisher and Legal Information page is designed to provide transparency while protecting personal privacy. Where Online Safty is operated by an individual, unnecessary personal residential information should not be published.

If Online Safty later operates through a registered company, foundation, partnership, trust, or other legal entity, the page should be updated promptly to include:

  • Full legal entity name
  • Registration number
  • Jurisdiction of registration
  • Registered office address
  • Beneficial ownership information where appropriate
  • Relevant regulatory information, if applicable

Operational Readiness

Before launch, confirm that all published policies accurately reflect the website’s actual practices. Internal procedures should exist for:

  • Editorial review and governance
  • Corrections handling
  • Complaint resolution
  • Privacy requests
  • Security incident reporting
  • Accessibility feedback
  • Advertising enquiries
  • Contributor communications

Policies should be reviewed periodically and updated whenever operational practices change.

Final Publication Review

These documents are intended to strengthen institutional transparency, editorial accountability, legal compliance, and operational discipline.

They do not guarantee search engine rankings, inclusion in news products, eligibility for search features, or citation by AI systems. Long-term trust depends on consistently following the standards described in these policies and ensuring that public commitments accurately reflect day-to-day editorial and operational practices.
